Retention techniques are ways to keep bringing a customer back to your store and not your competitors. These can include:


  • Emailers

  • Exclusive Discount Codes

  • Personal Touches

  • Weekly & Monthly Deals


Let’s give some examples of this...

 

An emailer could include the following:

  • A letter from the founder that thanks them for their purchases (personal touch).

  • The letter contains a discount code just for loyal customers (incentive).

  • It could then follow on to say that for this week only the code will stack on the sale items within the store (scarcity & fomo).
